I. No Pets

Only guests mentioned in the reservation may stay at the villa.


V. Visitor Policy

Visitors are not allowed without prior approval from the host.


VI. ID Requirement

All guests must present a valid government ID at check-in.


VII. No Extra Overnight Guests

Unregistered visitors cannot stay overnight.


VIII. Mountain-Area Awareness

Keep doors and windows closed to prevent insects and wildlife from entering.


IX. Daily Housekeeping

Includes sweeping, mopping, bathroom cleaning, and bed maintenance.


X. Check-In / Check-Out Times

Please follow the specified timings to ensure smooth turnover.


XI. No Commercial Photography

Professional shoots require prior permission.

I. No Smoking Indoors

Smoking is not allowed inside the villa. Please use designated outdoor areas only.


II. Quiet Hours

Maintain low noise levels between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. to respect neighbours.


III. Cleanliness

Please dispose of trash in the provided bins and help keep the villa tidy.


IV. Property Care

Switch off lights, fans, heaters, and appliances when not in use and ensure doors and windows are locked.


V. Damages

Report any damages immediately to avoid added charges.


VI. Key Responsibility

Guests are responsible for their keys. A replacement fee will apply for lost keys.


VII. No Decorations

Avoid attaching decorations or adhesives to walls or furniture.


VIII. Amenities

Do not remove towels, kitchenware, linens, or other items from the villa.


IX. Towel & Linen Service

Towels and linens are changed every three days for hygiene and water conservation.


X. Before Check-Out

Gather used towels, clear the kitchen, and turn off all appliances before leaving.


Please treat the space with the same care as you would your own home.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of Da Alohas. By making a reservation with the Da Alohas, the acknowledges and agrees to the terms set out herein.

1. Applicability of Refunds

1.1 Refunds shall be applicable only in cases where the Guest has remitted the full booking amount in advance.

1.2 Where the Guest has made a partial payment (50% advance), no refund shall be applicable irrespective of the date of cancellation.

2. Refund Schedule for Cancellations

Subject to Clause 1 above and Clause 3 (Peak Dates), refunds shall be processed as follows:

• Cancellations made 30 (thirty) days or more prior to the check-in date: Eligible for a refund of 90% of the total booking amount.

• Cancellations made between 15 (fifteen) and 29 (twenty-nine) days prior to the check-in date: Eligible for a refund of 50% of the total booking amount.

• Cancellations made less than 15 (fifteen) days prior to the check-in date: No refund shall be made.

3. Peak Dates and Non-Refundable Periods

3.1 Notwithstanding Clause 2, no refunds shall be provided for cancellations of bookings falling within the following Peak Dates:

• Christmas and New Year Period: 20th December to 2nd January (both dates inclusive);

• Major Indian Festivals, including but not limited to: Diwali, Holi, Dussehra, Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, Navratri, Durga Puja, Raksha Bandhan, and Janmashtami;

• Gazetted National Holidays: Independence Day (15th August), Republic Day (26th January), and Gandhi Jayanti (2nd October);

• Other long weekends and public holidays as may be declared by the Government of India from time to time.

4. Extenuating Circumstances

4.1 In the event of extenuating circumstances, including but not limited to medical emergencies, natural disasters, or government-imposed travel restrictions, the Company may, at its sole and absolute discretion, issue a credit note in lieu of a refund.

4.2 The issuance, terms, and validity of such credit notes shall be determined exclusively by the Company, and the Company’s decision shall be final and binding on the Guest.

5. General Conditions

5.1 Refunds, where applicable, shall be processed within 14 (fourteen) working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

5.2 Any bank charges, payment gateway fees, or transaction costs shall be deducted and shall not be refundable.

5.3 This Policy shall prevail over any cancellation policies of third-party booking platforms in the event of direct bookings made through the Company’s official website.

5.4 The Company reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Policy at its discretion. Guests are encouraged to review the Policy prior to making a booking.

1. How far is the villa from Naini Lake and Mall Road?

The villa is just a short walk away — around 4–5 minutes from Naini Lake and Mall Road. It’s close enough to enjoy the buzz, yet tucked away in a peaceful lane for quiet, scenic stays.


2. Is parking available at the property?

Yes! The villa provides parking for one car. Since the lane is slightly narrow (like most of Nainital), we recommend parking carefully or asking the caretaker for help.


3. Does the villa have Wi-Fi and good network connectivity?

Yes, the villa has high-speed Wi-Fi. Mobile networks work well in this area too, especially Jio and Airtel, so you’ll stay connected throughout your trip.


4. Can we cook our own meals at the villa?

Absolutely! The villa has a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your meals. You can also request the caretaker for simple home-style meals (subject to availability).


5. Is the villa suitable for families and groups?

Yes! With 2 bedrooms, a cosy living room, a balcony, and calm lake views, the villa is perfect for families, couples, and small groups looking for a comfortable, home-like stay near the lake.
