• Loud parties, events or DJ/music systems require prior approval.

• Please respect the peaceful surroundings and local community.

🚭 SMOKING & TOBACCO

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the villa, including bedrooms and bathrooms.

• Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.

• Chewing tobacco, gutkha, paan and similar products are strictly prohibited.

🐾 PETS

• Pets are strictly NOT allowed at the property.

👥 OCCUPANCY & GUESTS

• Please follow the maximum occupancy mentioned in your booking.

• Additional guests require prior approval and may attract additional charges.

• Only registered/approved guests may stay overnight.

🧹 CLEANLINESS & HOUSEKEEPING

• Daily housekeeping/cleaning is compulsory as per property policy.

• Please keep the villa reasonably clean during your stay.

• Do not remove or unnecessarily move furniture, linen, towels or décor.

• Please dispose of waste responsibly.

💔 DAMAGES & BREAKAGES

• Any damage, breakage, loss or malfunction must be reported immediately to the property manager/caretaker.

• Guests may be responsible for applicable repair, replacement or specialised cleaning charges.

• Please do not attempt to repair or modify property fixtures, appliances or systems yourself.

🍳 KITCHEN & FOOD

• The kitchen is not available for self-cooking by guests.

• An in-house menu and chef-on-call service are available.

• Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals can be prepared.

• Additional cooking appliances may not be used without prior approval.

🔥 FIREPLACE, BONFIRE & BBQ

• Use only in designated areas and as instructed by the property team.

• Bonfire & BBQ setups are chargeable and must be requested in advance.

• Do not light fires in unauthorised areas.

• Fire safety equipment must not be tampered with.

🌡️ ROOM HEATERS

• Room heaters are available on request at an additional charge.

• Please request heaters in advance wherever possible.

• Only heaters provided/approved by the property team may be used.

🧳 LUGGAGE ASSISTANCE

• Luggage assistance is available during check-in/check-out where applicable.

• Please coordinate with the property team for assistance.

🕐 EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECK-OUT

• Standard check-in/check-out timings apply as mentioned in your booking.

• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

• Both must be requested and approved in advance by management.

• Additional charges may apply.

• Please do not assume approval unless confirmation has been received from management.

🔑 SECURITY & BELONGINGS

• Lock doors and windows whenever leaving the property.

• Do not give keys/access devices to unauthorised persons.

• Report lost keys/access devices immediately.

• Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

🚗 PARKING

• Please park only in designated areas.

• Do not block access for other guests, residents or emergency vehicles.

• Guests are responsible for their vehicles and belongings.

📸 PHOTOGRAPHY & EVENTS

• Personal photography is welcome.

• Professional/commercial shoots, filming, influencer shoots, advertisements and events require prior approval and may attract additional charges.

🚫 PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

• Illegal activities, drugs/illegal substances, weapons and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.

• Any activity creating a safety risk, disturbance or property damage will be treated seriously.

🌿 PROPERTY & SURROUNDINGS

• Please respect the villa, furniture, décor, landscaping and natural surroundings.

• Do not litter.

• Exercise caution around balconies, stairs and outdoor areas.

• Restricted/private areas must not be accessed.

👨‍💼 STAFF & CARETAKER

• Our caretaker and operations team are available to assist with reasonable property-related requirements.

• Please treat all staff, vendors and service providers respectfully.

• Staff should not be asked to perform duties outside their assigned responsibilities without management approval.

⚠️ VIOLATION OF HOUSE RULES

Serious or repeated violations may result in additional charges, termination of the stay or removal from the property without refund, depending on the nature and severity of the violation.

🤫 Peaceful Environment

This property is a peaceful retreat, not a party venue.

Parties, disruptive gatherings, DJs, and loud music are strictly prohibited.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Guests must respect neighbours and the surrounding community.

🐾 Strict No-Pets Policy

Pets are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

Bringing a pet may attract a ₹5,000 violation charge, subject to the confirmed booking terms and applicable platform policies.

Additional documented cleaning or damage costs may apply where permitted.

Serious or repeated violations may be reported to the booking platform and handled according to its applicable policies.

🌳 Garden & Outdoor Areas

Keep the garden clean and dispose of waste responsibly.

Do not damage plants, landscaping, garden furniture, or outdoor fixtures.

Children must be supervised by an adult in the garden and outdoor areas.

Bonfires, open fires, and burning waste are prohibited without prior written approval.

Littering in the garden or surrounding natural areas is not permitted.

🏔️ Mountain & River Safety

Exercise caution when exploring nearby outdoor areas and riverbanks.

Do not enter restricted, unsafe, or private areas.

Children must be supervised near slopes, water bodies, and other potentially hazardous areas.

Avoid riverbanks during heavy rain, strong currents, or unsafe weather conditions.

Follow local safety instructions and restrictions.

👨‍💼 On-Site Caretaker

A caretaker resides at the property and is available to assist with property-related requirements.

Please treat the caretaker respectfully and respect their personal space.

The caretaker is not responsible for supervising children or safeguarding guests' personal belongings.

🕒 2. Check-In & Check-Out Policy

Standard check-in: 2:00 PM

Standard check-out: 11:00 AM

⏰ Early Check-In

Early check-in is subject to availability and prior approval.

An approved early check-in attracts an additional charge of ₹1,500, subject to confirmation.

If early check-in requires the previous night to be blocked, a charge equivalent to 70% of the applicable nightly tariff may apply instead, as communicated and agreed in advance.

Arriving before the approved check-in time without confirmation is not permitted.

🕚 Late Check-Out

Late check-out is subject to availability and prior approval.

An approved late check-out attracts an additional charge of ₹1,500, subject to confirmation.

If late check-out requires blocking the following night, a charge equivalent to 70% of the applicable nightly tariff may apply instead, as communicated and agreed in advance.

Late check-out is not an automatic entitlement.

⚠️ Unauthorised Check-In or Check-Out Extensions

Unauthorised early check-in or late check-out may attract a ₹5,000 violation charge, subject to the confirmed booking terms and applicable platform policies.

Additional reasonable costs arising from documented losses or reservation disruption may apply where permitted.

Guests must vacate the property at the confirmed check-out time.

Important: Always obtain written approval from management before changing your check-in or check-out time.

🍲 3. Home-Cooked Meals & Food Ordering Policy

We offer freshly prepared, home-cooked meals at the property, prepared by our on-site caretaker.

🍽️ Meal Package

₹2,500 per day for two meals.

Grocery and ingredient procurement charges are payable at actual cost, separately from the meal preparation charge.

Alternatively, guests may order from the available menu at the applicable menu prices.

Please confirm the applicable meal package, menu prices, and grocery arrangements with management before placing your order.

⏰ Mandatory 24-Hour Advance Ordering

All meal orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance.

The nearest market is approximately 45 km from the property, so advance notice is essential to arrange procurement and preparation.

Ingredients are procured fresh for meal preparation.

Last-minute orders and same-day meal requests cannot be accepted.

Meal requests, menu selections, and any special dietary requirements must be communicated in advance and are subject to availability.

Please confirm meal timings and arrangements with the caretaker or management before arrival.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, as advance planning helps us provide fresh, home-cooked meals during your stay.

🎬 4. Commercial Activities, Photography & Shoots

Vanora Riverside Retreat is primarily intended for private stays and peaceful getaways.

Photography shoots, video shoots, advertising campaigns, content production, commercial filming, and other commercial activities require prior written approval from management.

An additional charge of ₹20,000 per day applies to approved shoots and commercial activities.

This charge is separate from the accommodation tariff and any other agreed charges.

Guests must disclose the nature, purpose, number of participants, equipment requirements, and duration of the proposed activity before booking or commencing the activity.

Additional requirements, such as extra staffing, equipment arrangements, cleaning, or restoration following a shoot, may incur separate charges if agreed in advance.

Unauthorised commercial activities or shoots are prohibited and may be reported to the booking platform.

Please note: An accommodation reservation does not automatically grant permission for commercial use of the property.

👥 5. Guest Occupancy & Visitors

Only guests included in the confirmed reservation may stay overnight.

The correct number of guests must be disclosed at booking.

Additional visitors require prior approval from management.

Unregistered guests are not permitted to stay overnight without approval.

Events, gatherings, and activities beyond ordinary personal use require prior written permission.

The property must not be used for unlawful activities.

🚭 6. Smoking & Substance Use

Smoking is permitted only in areas specifically designated by management.

Smoking is prohibited inside bedrooms, bathrooms, and other indoor areas.

Cigarette butts must be disposed of safely.

Illegal drugs and unlawful substance-related activities are strictly prohibited.

Guests must not engage in conduct that endangers themselves, other guests, staff, or the property.

🧹 7. Cleanliness & Care of the Property

Keep bedrooms, bathrooms, the living area, kitchen, and outdoor spaces reasonably clean.

Dispose of waste responsibly.

Do not remove property items or move heavy furniture without permission.

Switch off lights, fans, air-conditioning, and appliances when not in use.

Report accidental damage, breakages, or maintenance issues promptly.

Guests may be responsible for substantiated damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning costs, subject to the booking terms and applicable platform policies.

🔐 8. Safety & Security

Lock doors and secure windows when leaving the property.

Keep valuables and personal belongings secure.

Do not share keys or access codes with unauthorised persons.

Do not tamper with electrical fittings, safety equipment, or property installations.

Inform the caretaker or management promptly about safety hazards or suspicious activity.

Guests are responsible for supervising children and using the property's facilities safely.

🚫 9. Prohibited Activities

The following are prohibited:

Bringing pets onto the property.

Hosting unauthorised parties or disruptive gatherings.

Playing loud music or disturbing neighbours.

Conducting unauthorised photography, filming, shoots, or commercial activities.

Damaging furniture, fixtures, landscaping, or other property.

Littering or disposing of cigarette butts irresponsibly.

Allowing unauthorised overnight visitors.

Engaging in illegal activities or bringing illegal substances onto the premises.

Misusing appliances, equipment, or property facilities.

💰 10. Penalties & House Rule Violations

We request all guests to follow the house rules to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

Important conditions:

Charges are subject to the confirmed reservation terms, applicable booking platform policies, and applicable law.

The ₹20,000/day commercial activity charge applies to approved activities. Unauthorised commercial activities may result in further action under the applicable booking terms and platform policies.

The same incident will not automatically attract multiple penalties for the same loss or conduct.

Additional damage or cleaning costs must be distinct, reasonable, documented, and recoverable under the applicable terms.

Guests may be asked to stop a prohibited activity immediately.

Serious or repeated violations may be reported to the booking platform and may result in termination of the stay through the applicable procedures.

Any charge must be supported by the relevant reservation terms and appropriate evidence.

🤝 11. Respect for Staff & Neighbours

Treat the caretaker, staff, neighbours, and local community with courtesy and respect.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or aggressive behaviour is not tolerated.

Follow reasonable safety instructions from the caretaker or management.

Report concerns to management so they can be addressed promptly.

Vanora Riverside Retreat is intended to be a peaceful place for relaxation, reflection, and connection with nature. Guests are expected to respect the villa, its surroundings, staff, neighbours, and confirmed reservation terms.

Cancellation by Guest

• Guests may cancel their reservation up to 15 days before check-in to receive a full refund of the accommodation amount paid, excluding any applicable non-refundable fees, taxes, or payment-processing charges.
• If a guest cancels less than 15 days before check-in, the amount equivalent to the first 5 nights of the reservation (or the entire reservation if fewer than 5 nights) will be charged. Any remaining amount paid will be refunded, subject to applicable booking/payment terms.
• If the guest does not arrive (no-show), no refund will be provided.
• Early departure after check-in: No refund will be provided for unused nights.

Modification of Reservation

Any change to the dates, number of guests, or duration of stay is subject to availability and the applicable tariff. Cancellation charges will be calculated based on the original reservation.

Force Majeure / Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances beyond the guest's reasonable control, DA ALOHAS may review the reservation on a case-by-case basis, subject to supporting documentation and the applicable booking terms.

For Airbnb Bookings: Where the reservation is made through Airbnb, the cancellation terms displayed on the Airbnb reservation at the time of booking will prevail in case of any conflict.
